Role Summary
The AAA team are looking for a newly qualified accountant with at least one year of post-qualification experience to join the growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who holds full accounts preparation capabilities, enjoys reviewing work, and has a passion for mentoring junior team members. The role offers a diverse mix of statutory and management accounting responsibilities, providing exposure to a wide variety of clients and industries.
What you will do:
1. Accounts Preparation: Take full responsibility for the preparation of statutory accounts, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.Prepare management accounts, providing insightful analysis and commentary to clients.
2. Review Work: Review the work of junior accountants, ensuring accuracy and providing constructive feedback.Oversee bookkeeping and accounts work, ensuring consistency and quality across the team.
3. Team Mentorship: Support the development of junior team members through coaching and mentoring.Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.
4. Client Interaction: Engage directly with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored financial solutions.Maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
5. Sector Variety: Work across a broad range of sectors including corporate clients, public sector entities, and SMEs.Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, providing both statutory and management accounting services.
What you will have:
6. Newly Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA) with at least 1 year of post-qualification experience.Strong experience in accounts preparation and review.
7. Previous experience mentoring or managing junior staff is desirable.
8. High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
10. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
11. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
