About the role: We are looking for a compassionate and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join a small, supportive special school in Newham, London. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with students across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, providing tailored support for those with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Your main responsibility will be to assist both verbal and non-verbal students, helping them develop academically, socially, and emotionally. Working collaboratively with the class teacher and SENCO, you will implement specific learning plans, offer one-to-one guidance, and adapt your approach to meet each child’s unique needs.
