Job Description
The Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for:
1. Collaborate with the PX to plan, execute, and close construction projects.
2. Assist in developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, and budgets.
3. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
4. Assist in monitoring project progress, identifying issues, and implementing solutions to keep projects on track.
5. Prepare and maintain project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and meeting minutes.
6. Support the preparation of project status reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
7. Assist in ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
8. Contribute to project financial management, including budget tracking and cost control.
9. Participate in regular project meetings and communicate project updates to team members.
10. Comfortable in client-facing meetings - shows high potential as a future PM

The Successful Applicant
The Assistant Project Manager should have:
11. 2-5 years of relevant APM experience at a Commercial General Contractor
12. Motivated junior construction professional capable of keeping up in fast-paced environment and does well in client-facing situations
13. Forward-thinking with the desire to continue learning and growing
14. Bachelor's Degree in a construction-related field
15. Stand-out communication skills | Verbal & Written
16. Commercial interiors, healthcare, and/or life science project experience is ideal
