We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Credit Controller to join our finance team in Granville, Dungannon. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient collection of cash and managing all credit accounts within the framework of the company credit policy. The successful candidate will take ownership of customer accounts, foster positive customer relationships, and help maintain smooth cash flow across the business. Main Duties: Cash Collection: Efficiently collect cash to meet or exceed monthly targets. Account Management: Monitor customer accounts to ensure balances remain within agreed credit limits and payment terms. Accurately allocate incoming payments to relevant customer accounts and invoices, resolving any discrepancies. Regularly reconcile customer accounts to ensure proper transaction recording and promptly address any issues. Keep the sales ledger updated with accurate, timely information; ensure customer account details are current. Build and maintain strong customer relationships to facilitate smooth payment resolutions. Serve as the primary point of contact for customers on credit and payment matters. Manage and resolve customer queries related to invoices, payments, or credit limits professionally and promptly. Coordinate with other departments to ensure a seamless order flow. Prepare and deliver credit management reports that outline outstanding debts, collection performance, and any issues. Ensure credit control activities comply with company credit policies and legal regulations. Essential Criteria: Experience: Minimum of 3 years as a Credit Controller in a fast-paced FMCG environment, with proven experience meeting targets and deadlines. Exceptional interpersonal skills, strong organizational skills, and high attention to detail. Skilled in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Able to work effectively with minimal supervision. Strong verbal and written communication skills; methodical and logical approach to tasks. Office Location: Head Office – Granville Industrial Estate, Dungannon. Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, with a discretionary early finish at 3:00 pm on Fridays (outside of peak times). We are an Equal Opportunities Employer.
