Can I have a Martini stirred not shaken, please? SAY WHAT?
We've heard it all.
Because you're an outstanding bartender you'll know exactly how to deal with such requests (believe me, there will be weirder) – this means you won't be scared of the unknown, you'll actually love it! You'll also know Angela, (one of your favourite regulars) is partial to trying whatever special is on the menu, so she gives you the nod and you have it on order; but you'll be just as passionate about ensuring each and every guest receives the same treatment, paying attention to those little details, that makes them leave with a smile.
What will I be responsible for as a Bartender?
As a bartender, you'll have a lot on your plate with the following:
1. Being trusted to constantly strive to deliver an outstanding guest experience
2. Offering recommendations to your guests, going above and beyond to make everyone's day – a (large) cup of coffee for Lucas, as you noticed his new-born baby is grouchy? No problem!
3. Being personable and engaging with our guests in a service style that is relaxed yet professional
4. Developing relationships with all of our guests, getting to know them and remembering the details that will create memorable experiences for each and every one of them
5. Have an interest in F&B with a passion to develop your knowledge further
6. Striving to become an integral member of a committed team, ensuring each member takes pride in their work and communicates with one another.
Is this Bartender role right for me?
You'll already be an experienced Food & Beverage Assistant for a minimum of 2 years in the hospitality industry. Most importantly you'll be energetic, enthusiastic, and people-focused and you'll have a keen desire to learn all the details about your hotel and how you can utilise its facilities to deliver an outstanding service.
What's in it for me?
7. Discounts across retail, restaurants, events etc (because we know life isn't just about work)
8. Family and Friends discounts in hotels across the Kew Green Hotels estate
9. Leisure Club / Gym free membership
10. International Travel at Employee Rate for other branded hotels within our brand family (and you're not just limited to good old Britain – our family has hotels that span all over the world!)
11. Parking on site for free
12. Meals for free on shift – hard work is hungry work!
13. Progression Room to grow, with opportunities across the UK and internationally
14. Uniform provided
15. Flexible attitude and working hours.
