Tasks
ABOUT THE ROLE
This role will play a crucial role in supporting the Comms8 team based in London. Reporting directly to the Managing Director and the local managers, you will be tasked with providing efficient and professional support in campaign management, new business development and content creation management across regions.
This presents an exciting prospect, offering exposure to various operational activities within Comms8. There are extensive opportunities for professional development and the chance to make a significant impact within Comms8.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1) Design & content creation
* Assist in brainstorming, creating, and managing engaging content for various digital platforms, including social media, websites, and email campaigns.
* Design and create eye-catching visuals, including logos, banners, infographics, and other marketing materials.
* Develop basic animations and motion graphics to enhance visual storytelling across digital channels.
* Edit and produce short-form videos for social media, YouTube, and internal presentations, ensuring they are polished and on-brand.
2) Client Servicing and Support
* Support our client services team in providing outstanding customer service, including responding to client queries, preparing reports and presentations, and participating in client meetings.
* You will be one of the points of contact for our clients and business partners, so excellent communication skills are essential.
3) Administrative Support
* Provide administrative support to the team, including meeting scheduling, preparing reports, and tracking project deadlines.
* Assist with general office administration, including organizing and maintaining documentation, handling communication, and providing operational support as needed.
4) Database Management
* Assist in the maintenance and optimization of our databases. This includes data entry, data cleansing, generating database reports, and implementing improvements to our data management systems.
Requirements
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
* Excellent presentation and communication skills.
* Strong interest in Asian/Chinese culture and media landscape; knowledge of the Chinese language is a plus.
* Proficiency in graphic design and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro). Knowledge of animation tools and techniques is a plus.
* Familiarity with the city and a keen eye for the latest trends.
* Display a “can do” attitude, proactive in seeking solutions is a must.
* Knowledge of managing Chinese social media platforms would be an advantage.
* Eager to learn and demonstrate a high level of curiosity.
* Willingness to embrace a flexible and dynamic environment.
