Job Description
This role, based within the Local Taxes team in Pullar House, will assist in providing an effective and efficient service to Council Tax and Non-Domestic Rates customers and assist the Council in maximising its income from these sources.
It will comprise a wide range of activities including the input, collation, and retrieval of information from various computerised systems in order to ensure the accuracy of Local Taxes databases and to identify and collect outstanding monies due to the Council.
The post holder will also assist with a range of administrative functions conducted within the Revenues, Benefits, and Welfare service.
The Individual
This post requires someone with a positive approach to working flexibly, willingly, and cooperatively.
The post holder will also be someone with experience of using computer databases, who provides high-quality customer service and has good communication skills.
The role may require the successful candidate to be able to carry out some work from home; therefore, the ability to work with minimal direct supervision would also be expected.
