Location: Thornton Heath
️ Hours: 8:30am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
Placement: Temporary (potential for permanent)
Daily Rate: Paid according to your teaching scale
Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Responsibilities:
Deliver top-notch teaching in IT to students aged 14-19 with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs, ADHD, and other behavioural difficulties.
Develop and implement engaging IT curriculum tailored to the diverse learning needs of students.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback and support as needed.
Collaborate with colleagues to foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Skills Required:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential for this role.
Extensive experience in teaching IT, preferably in a similar SEN setting.
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to effectively manage classroom activities and resources.
Adaptability and flexibility to meet the varying needs of students and address challenges effectively.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/carers.
A genuine passion for supporting the educational and emotional development of young people.
