Client Relationship Manager
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our in-house sales team. The company’s principal activities:
We organize Europe’s leading and longest-running annual medical symposium.
We deliver medical education through articles and news via specialist medical newspapers.
We publish seven titles and are available to specialists as printed newspapers, websites, online education, and social media channels.
We provide bespoke and ongoing Insights for the Medical device industry.
The Client relationship manager's role is to:
Take on sales and marketing for two key publications, to build up the advertising sales within that publication across all media channels: Print, online, subscription, and videos.
Working towards achieving and exceeding the sales targets for each publication.
Take on the annual Awards evening sponsorship and table sales
Work within the in-house sales team and alongside the editorial team.
Account management of a client list across different medical fields, by reviewing existing business and improving relationships and sales.
Liaising with new clients to implement products as part of their advertising and market research strategies.
Liaising with publication editors and market analysts to discuss sales strategies based on editorial and market research content.
Developing interest and basic knowledge of the topics covered in the publications and market research monitors.
Providing the management with progress reports including closed and potential businesses.
Showing initiative and high organizational abilities in maintaining transparent progress records and invoicing.
Completing all sales administrative duties: recording open and closed sales opportunities, including bookings on salesforce, negotiating partnership deals with event organizers, and preparing the company’s participation in medical conferences.
Collate metrics to submit to clients on the success of a sales initiative.
Working on media packs with the designer, ensuring the media pack is up to date and ready to share with external stakeholders.
You
Are target-driven and have a track record of successful client management.
Experience in media sales.
Excellent communicator and relationship builder.
Have a “can do” attitude with the flexibility to do what is needed to get the job done is essential.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
An ability to meet and deliver deadlines and prioritise work.
Can work autonomously, as well as part of a team.
Are able and willing to travel internationally to conferences to network and build on the publication’s sales pipeline.
Ideally have experience in a science or the medical field.
