Our client has a group of 8 small animal branches across South Wales and is now looking for a Full or Part Time Small Animal Vet to join their team.
The practice is close to local amenities, train station, bus stations and the city centres of Newport & Cardiff. The branch is fully equipped and includes an in-house lab, x-ray, ultrasound, and K-Laser. They have 3 large spacious consulting rooms, a lovely light and spacious reception waiting area and an onsite car park for staff and clients.
You will be joining an experienced Head Nurse, an RVN and 2 receptionists but as part of a larger group you will always have support and access to the larger team of experienced vets. They are fortunate enough to be able to offer a mix of rota options depending on your personal requirements including full time, part time, flexitime, rotas to work around school hours and a term time only rota, meaning you have the security knowing you have childcare throughout the school year.
The full-time role would be 40 hours a week with 1:5 Saturday shifts at Newport and no OOH as this is covered by VetsNow. Salary up to £75,000 DOE, a welcome bonus of £10k and a relocation allowance of up to £8k if required. The ideal candidate will have previous experience and can confidently work through a list of consultations and surgical procedures. In addition to excellent clinical and communication skills, you will need to be a people-oriented person, who is willing to support your colleagues.
