About the Role
The Garment Technologist will be part of the dedicated Tech team and will report to the General Technical Manager. Working within a small team, this role will be hands on and will handle of a range of garments including outerwear and denims across mens, womens, kids and baby.
We are looking for Technologist who is:
1. Experienced and established within the fashion industry
2. Experienced with Kidswear as well as adult
3. Highly knowledgeable about consumer product safety requirements and able to interpret relevant legislation to ensure compliance
4. Strong ability to Risk assess product and understanding testing and performance
5. An excellent communicator and someone who is comfortable working with colleagues and customers at all levels
6. Comfortable working in a fast-paced working environment
7. Highly organised, efficient and able to work to tight deadlines
8. Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word & Excel)
9. Driven and results orientated
10. Proactive, positive and solutions focused
11. Educated to degree level, ideally in a qualification related to fashion design, business or retail
