In your new role as a Site Manager, you will be the main point of contact for a short-term project in Elgin. This role starts on Monday 18th of March with a duration of up to 10 weeks. Working for the main contractor, you will oversee all work on site.
Your new role
In your new role as a Site Manager, you will be responsible for the operational running of the construction site, including opening up and closing up each day. Day to day, you will manage subcontractors to ensure that work is undertaken as per the plans and most importantly, safely. You will oversee elements such as concrete pours and construction of a new office building. You will carry out all site inductions and keep up-to-date records for the site and give feedback on any issues to the construction manager. Your role will also include keeping the client updated of progress and working to ensure their current operations carry on as normal.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered for this position, you must have previous experience in a Site Manager role or that of an on-site construction Health & Safety Manager. The minimum certification for this role is to hold a current SMSTS. Additional certificates such as CSCS card and First Aid at Work would also be advantageous. You must be a strongmunicator and be IT literate to keep site documentation updated. You must have a keen eye for Health & Safety and be able to manage a fast-paced programme of works in the vicinity of a live site.

This role offers an immediate start and work for up to 10 weeks. You will be paid apetitive rate of pay either PAYE or via a Limitedpany. This role may lead to further contracts as our clients are busy with work in the area.
