Working 2 shifts initially with the ability to flex to work a third shift if required.
Hand tool experience is needed but full training will be given to the right candidate. Potential start date can be as soon as the 9th September following successful D&A.

Mechanical Fitter – Main Duties:
1. Wheel-set overhaul, damage repair and engineering
2. Bogie chassis, damage repair and clean
3. Bogie and gearbox engineering / repair
4. Wheel exchange on wheel sets
5. Bearing, axle and wheel mounting
6. Components and sub-assemblies overhaul repair and analysis
7. Re-engineering and production of spare parts
They require a Fitter with a minimum of 1 year relevant experience.
Qualifications / Skills/ Experience:
* Must be comfortable using hand tools such as torque wrenches and spanners.
* Able to use measuring equipment & overhead crane (Training Given)
Salary / Hourly Rates:
PAYE: £15.87 - £17.35 per hour.
Overtime is £21.07 then £21.72 after 3 months.
Rotating Weeks:
Mornings:
Mon-Thursday: 06.00 - 14.00
Fri: 06.00 - 12 noon
Afternoons:
Mon-Thurs: 14.00 - 22.00 & Fri: 12.00 - 18.00
Nights:
Monday to Thursday: 22.00 - 06.00.
Friday: 18.00 - Midnight.
Successful candidates must pass a drugs & alcohol test before starting.
