Area Sales Manager - OTE for First year £75,000 - £85,000 - uncapped Home and Field based within the following postcode areas CH, LL, SY, TF and LD. JLA is a mission critical infrastructure solutions business offering services across laundry, catering, heating, fire safety, infection control and air conditioning. JLA offers a contracted end-to-end equipment supply and maintenance proposition called ‘Total Care’ alongside multiple other products and services. Role overview Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager you will be responsible for contributing to the delivery of the sales strategy for our SME division across our laundry, catering and infection control verticals. Expanding JLA’s footprint within existing accounts whilst acquiring new customers across a range of market sectors. Key tasks Deliver against the sales strategy set for the SME team Work closely with colleagues in ensuring effective management and conversion Increase the growth potential in existing accounts and acquiring new clients Cement and drive key customer relationships Understanding target markets, including industry, company, project, company contacts and which market strategies can be used to attract clients Developing and delivering presentations to secure new business Following the latest industry developments and staying up to date on corporate competitors Criteria Skills Demonstrate a proven track record in contracted solution sales. Have a consultative approach in dealing with client requirements. A strong communicator capable of handling varied client types with ease. An understanding of the install and service marketplace would be preferable. Experience Successful track record in delivering ambitious growth plans. Negotiation and presentation skills in gaining new business. Experience in dealing with SME decision makers. A successful track record in selling products using financial justification to demonstrate value to your customers. Personal qualities You will be performance driven and be able to focus where primary goals are. You will be highly resilient and able to operate successfully in a fast-paced environment. Action orientated, Down-to-earth, energetic, pragmatic, and willing to “roll up your sleeves”. This role is home based, so you will have an ability to manage yourself without supervision and provide clear strategy plans to the management team. You will be a consummate sales professional, and an ambassador for the JLA brand. Qualifications We will need you to have a full UK diving license as the role involves UK travel.
