What You'll Do: As a Clinical Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in supporting our Professional staff both with patient care and administrative tasks. You'll work across various areas such as Ultrasound, CT, Nuclear Medicine, the Emergency Department, Fluoroscopy, and MRI, providing essential support where it's needed most.

Main duties of the job
7. Support the delivery of a high-quality imaging service across various modalities.
8. Communicate effectively and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
9. Assist in training new Healthcare Assistants and Support Workers.
10. Help manage and update support worker rotas.
11. Oversee stock maintenance and ordering.
12. Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including cannulation, venepuncture, and Point of Care Testing (POCT).
13. Maintain and update patients' electronic imaging records using Trust and departmental systems.

Essential
24. NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health-related subject/Care Certificate
25. Trained in cannulation, venepuncture and Point of Care Testing (POCT)
Experience

26. Previous experience as a care assistant in a NHS or private health care environment

27. Experience of working in an Imaging Department
