Our client, a well established market leader in their field, has an exciting new job opportunity for a Qualified Head of Finance.
Your new role
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Financial Controller / Head of Finance to join the team working as a key member of the Senior Management team at the Stirling Head Office.
You will play a vital role as part of the senior management team and will be responsible for running and managing a busy finance department, managing a small team of staff.
Responsibilities will include:
1. All aspects of the oversight of thepany's financial management (all aspects of financial and management accounting) including a review of the systems and controls currently in place and making rmendations for improvement.
2. Ensure thatpany financial systems are robust,pliant and support current activities and future growth
3. Liaise closely with the Directors and ensure that reporting deadlines are met and that the Directors are provided with regular financial information timeously
4. Review and update thepany's budgets and projections
5. Attend Senior management meetings formulating strategies and plans take ultimate responsibility for thepany cash management policies
6. Providing meaningful management information and insight to supportmercial decision-making.
What you'll need to succeed
7. The ideal candidate will be fully qualified and ideally have trained in practice with post-qualification experience gained in a similar varied Financial Controller / Head of finance role within amercial organisation.
8. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a continuous improvement mindset
9. Strongmercial acumen and analytical skills
10. Excellent team building and stakeholder management skills with the ability to build robust working relationships with managers around the group and the ability to convey financial concepts to a non-financial audience.
