The Role
You'll work in one of our vibrant virtual learning centres alongside a supportive team to nurture lots of fearless learners who attend their sessions every week.
Your key objectives are to:

7. Demonstrate Progress – support children to recognise progress; develop their reflective skills to be able to identify their own progress

Logistics
The application process:
Stage one : Submit your cv and complete your application.
Stage two : Complete an assessment that involves a short maths test and a 3-question video interview.
Stage three : Take part in a live Teams interview with a member of our recruitment team.
How does it work?:
14. You'll work consistent hours per week; you can request as many hours as you'd like as long as it's more than your minimum of 6 contracted weekly hours
15. You'll work with the same students every week
16. Our shifts are after school hours, and weekends
17. You'll be paid hourly based on your age, and the number of hours you work
Your starting hourly pay will be:
Under 18 – £7.30
18-20 – £8.80
21+ – £11.60
*All tutors receive further uplifts to their base hourly pay due to holiday entitlement and based on the number of hours they have worked. On top of your tutoring shifts, you will be paid for all of your training and induction sessions.
To qualify, you'll need
18. A Maths GCSE (equivalent) grade 8 or above
19. To be age 17 or over
20. To be currently living in the UK when commencing work with us, and have a right to work in the UK
21. To have access to a laptop or computer device and internet connection
All successful applicants will undertake employment reference checks, and a Disclosure & Barring Service check or PVG check. Please note, this role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the amendments to the Exceptions Order 1975, 2013 and 2020.
