Job Purpose:
The Parts Advisor will be responsible for providing excellent customer service on the front counter, answering inbound calls, and serving both retail and trade customers. This role involves ordering parts from internal and external sources, picking and packing parts, and ensuring accurate invoicing. The Parts Advisor will also play a key role in maintaining customer relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Customer Service: Serve customers both face-to-face and over the phone, providing expert advice and assistance with parts orders.
Parts Identification and Ordering: Ensure the correct parts are identified and ordered from internal and external sources.
Picking and Packing: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare parts for delivery or customer collection.
Invoicing: Process customer orders accurately, ensuring timely invoicing and payment collection.
Customer Relationship Management: Build long-term rapport with retail and trade customers, ensuring excellent relationships and repeat business.
