Omega is partnering with a fantastic company based in Gloucester, who are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Accounts Assistant to join their team on a part-time basis. This role is perfect for someone with a strong background in finance and accounting, looking to manage essential financial operations within a supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities-Accounts Assistant
Input and manage sales and purchase invoices on Xero, maintain sales and purchase ledgers, and resolve queries/disputes
Send customer statements, follow up on overdue payments, process customer rebates, and handle card and PayPal payments
Reconcile supplier statements, match purchase invoices with POs, and manage supplier payment runs
Conduct regular bank reconciliations, manage expenses, mileage, and petty cash
Assist with payroll (MoneySoft) and pension administration (Nest)
Qualifications & Requirements-Accounts Assistant
Excellent communicator with the ability to easily build relationships
Ability to organise and prioritise own workload and identify any areas of issue
Attention to detail and problem solving
Excellent computer skills on a sales order system with a good understanding of word and excel
