Our client operates within the legal services sector and has an exciting opportunity for a Compliance Assistant to join their ComplianceTeam. This role will play a pivotal function in providing exceptional support to all employees, ensuring unparalleled levels of service. This role is working full-time and is office based.
This role is crucial to the success of the Compliance Team who have a demanding workload. This means that you must be able to handle pressure and be able to prioritise your daily workload.
Key Responsibilities of this role:
* Assist in the maintenance and updating of:
o Compliance registers
o Employee Manual and Policies
o Risk Management Procedures
o Anti-Money Laundering procedures
o Compliance training
o Lexcel accreditation and reviews
* Co-ordinate quarterly file audits with the firm’s Quality Managers
* Assist with ensuring compliance plan is updated periodically
* Assist with the development of the firm’s Corporate/social responsibility plan
* Data Protection and GDPR
* Other compliance matters
Additional requirements of this role:
1. To assist with other administrative tasks for the firm
