Your new role
In your new role, you will be working as an Architectural Technician within the Industrial sector, where you will be:
1. Drafting and Designing: Create detailed drawings and plans for buildings using CAD software.
2. Technical Support: Assist architects with technical details and specifications.
3. Building Regulations: Ensure designs comply with building codes and regulations.
4. Project Coordination: Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals.
5. Site Visits: Inspect construction sites to monitor progress and ensure adherence to plans.
6. Material Selection: Recommend appropriate materials and construction techniques.
7. Problem Solving: Address technical issues that arise during the design and construction phases.
What you'll need to succeed
Preferred:
* Experience within the industrial sector.
* Client facing experience.
* Strong technical knowledge.
* All/most RIBA stages experience.
* AutoCAD and/or Revit expertise.
