Solar PV Sales Manager required. Our client is an established Renewable Energy company specialising in Battery Storage, Heat Pumps, Biomass and Solar PV. They are looking for a Solar PV Sales Manager to join the team due to the growth of the business.
Successful candidates will have a proven track record in sales and experience in electrical/ renewable sales. Candidates will be handling projects of 100KW. Candidates must be happy to travel around the country.
Solar PV Sales Manager Position Overview
1. Build and promote strong customer relationships in order to drive sales.
2. Develop credibility and trust with customers through industry insight, technical knowledge, sound commercial proposals and responsive and effective communication.
3. Act as a Brand Ambassador for the company.
4. Ensuring provision of a prompt and efficient response to all customer enquiries
5. Filter and prioritise customer enquiries to the maximum benefit of the business.
6. Liaise with internal colleagues to ensure all back-office functions such as DNO applications are efficiently completed.
7. Arrange and attend customer site visits and surveys
8. Prepare solar designs optimised for Client benefit
9. Construct and present accurate quotes allowing for all costs and target margin
10. Produce and present professional client proposals.
11. Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities through:
12. Attending Trade Shows and Exhibitions
13. Identification of Target Markets/Customers and creating & implementing a strategy for onboarding said.
14. Obtaining referrals from existing customers
15. Utilising existing contacts/networks where appropriate
Solar PV Sales Manager Position Requirements
16. 3+ years experience in a similar position
17. Excellent Customer Relationship Management skills.
18. Experience with New Business sales in whole-sales-cycle from target identification through to onboarding with a Margin-based sales approach.
Solar PV Sales Manager Position Remuneration
19. Salary: £40,000 - ££60,000 (depending on experience) + OTE
20. Working hours: 40 hours
21. Holiday Package: 25 days + 8BH
