VANRATH are working with a prestigious and thriving Construction based company with the recruitment of a Technical Sales Administrator. The successful candidate will be involved from enquiries to the delivery of precast concrete products, generally associated with civil engineering projects. Working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
This is a permanent position. Monday - Friday

Responsibilities:
1. Reading and interpreting customer drawings, producing a breakdown of the materials required
2. Pricing bespoke products & creating quotations
3. Processing & breaking down customer orders
4. Co-ordinating projects and maintaining project records
5. Producing all relevant documentation & drawings for production team & customers
6. Liaising with clients, contractors, consultants, and colleagues
7. Ordering various products relating to customer orders
8. Calling off products for delivery
9. Ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all aspects of their work
10. Organising & prioritising projects based on customer requirements
11. Providing technical support and advice for customers and contractors
12. Any other reasonable duties as requested by management
Essential Criteria:
13. English & Maths equivalent to Grade C or above.
14. Good computer skills with a good knowledge of Microsoft Office in particular Excel.
15. Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise work and manage a number of tasks concurrently.
16. Ability to work on own initiative but understand level of responsibility within the team. * Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written.
17. Ability to interact with a wide range of people including clients, contractors & consultants.
18. Demonstrate the ability to work calmly under pressure.
19. Be a highly motivated individual with initiative, self-confidence, with the drive and ability to work under their own direction or within a team of professionals.
20. Be keen to develop their individual capability and career development.
The Ideal Person:
21. Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
22. Ability to read technical drawings.
23. Experience of working in civil engineering or precast concrete manufacturing environment.
24. Knowledge of Civil Engineering products (eg Drainage pipes/manhole/shafts/cover slabs).
25. Knowledge of British Standards & Eurocodes.
26. Willingness to continue personal development.
27. Hold a valid Driving licence.
