Protocol Education are looking for a Teacher to work in a Residential Primary School in Chigwell. The right person must have QTS or Graduate Teaching Status Qualification!
The School is rated Oustanding by Oftsed, and caters for children between 5 and 11 years. The children who attend have an educational statement for social, emotional, and mental health difficulties (SEMH). Currently all the pupils are boys, and they board with the school Monday- Friday during term time.
The children are grouped into ‘houses’ according to their social needs and abilities. The school pride themselves on having a family feel and are rated Outstanding by Ofsted!
The ideal candidate-
1. Have QTS or Graduate Teaching Status Qualification
2. An understanding of the national curriculum, especially KS1/KS2
3. Experience or interest in special educational needs
4. Ability to form strong relationships and communicate effectively with pupils and staff
5. Committed to development and willing to undergo relevant training
6. Good physical health and ability to manage stress
No experience working with SEND or SEMH is necessary, we will consider applicants with experience in Mainstream Schools. Salary dependant on experience.
This is a long-term, full-time position so we are looking for candidates to be available 5 days a week between the hours of Monday - Thursday 8:30am-17:00, Friday 8:30 - 15:30

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
