We are seeking a compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our 5 bed LD team in providing a safe, nurturing environment for young people in care. You will play a key role in supporting their physical, emotional, and social needs, promoting positive outcomes, and ensuring the highest standards of care.
Key Responsibilities:
·Provide Safe, Supportive Care: Ensure the physical, health, and social needs of young people are met in a secure, welcoming environment. Support less experienced staff and foster effective teamwork.
·Promote Positive Life Outcomes: Contribute to an enabling culture that helps young people reach their full potential, supporting their educational and social development.
·Safeguarding and Risk Management: Identify and manage safeguarding concerns, ensuring effective risk management and appropriate action is taken.
·Develop and Review Care Plans: Work with young people, families, and professionals to develop and review individual care plans that meet each young person’s needs.
·Educational Support: Maximise educational opportunities for young people, liaising with schools and supporting their academic progress.
·Build Positive Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with young people, families, and external agencies, fostering a positive, supportive environment.
