Working Pattern: Our working style is hybrid, but we recognise the importance of collaborative working with our colleagues often 1 to 2 days per week in one of our offices

You and Your Team:
Join our team as a Senior Treasury Analyst, working closely with the Head of Treasury Finance. Your role involves supporting our Middle Office and overseeing various Treasury functions, including capital, interest rate risk, liquidity, and reporting. Collaborate with the Senior Manager to ensure efficient oversight, control, and identification of Treasury activities.
In your day-to-day role, as a Senior Treasury Analyst you will:
1. Governance & Control: Support the establishment of a governance framework for maintaining Treasury policies and procedures, including creating and maintaining a monitoring register.
2. Risk Management: Establish a register and directory for operational risk assessments and controls in Treasury.
3. Reporting: Prepare reports on Treasury counterparty exposures to internal limits, ensuring compliance and reporting any breaches.
4. Collateral Management: Ensure collateral margin calls are reconciled and tracked through to settlement, resolving any disputes within the contracted timeframe.
5. System Management: Assist with the ongoing management and setup of the Treasury Management System and other related systems

6. Data Analysis: Responsible for data analysis, data use, and production of reports within the team.
7. Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of liquidity, funding, and capital requirements for banks, and knowledge of forthcoming regulatory changes.
8. Market Understanding: Knowledge of wholesale funding markets and associated regulations is advantageous.
9. Treasury Experience: Experience in a financial Treasury environment, including Middle or Back Offices.
10. Communication: Good communication skills and the ability to build trust and influence at senior management levels.
11. Financial Knowledge: Understanding of financial markets, instruments, and debt instruments.
12. Accounting Principles: Good understanding of accounting principles.
13. Time Management: Excellent time management and organisational abilities.
14. Stakeholder Influence: Ability to influence stakeholders effectively.
15. Project Management: Strong project management skills, including decision-making, prioritisation, organisation, and evaluative skills.
16. Process Improvement: Proven track record of developing and delivering process improvements.

17. Up to 30-minute telephone call with a member of the Talent Acquisition team
18. Up to 1 hour virtual interview with the hiring manager
19. Final interview with the hiring team
