Your future duties and responsibilities:
You will support our clients in the UK electricity distribution sector deliver their digitisation strategies and you will be responsible for designing and delivering end-to-end IT solutions that address their unique challenges and requirements. This is all done whilst ensuring alignment with industry best practices and standards.
Key Tasks:
• Maintain your domain expertise that bridges the business needs, data considerations and associated existing ICT solutions available.
• Maintain an up to date view of sector requirements and actively engage with clients to develop solutions
• Add value by applying domain knowledge and experience to ensure IT initiatives closely match business expectations and desired outcomes.
• Assist with drafting responses to RFP's and general business development as and when required
• Deliver an open and pragmatic approach to specifying IT solutions to meet business requirements and be comfortable working with clients at levels up to senior management.
• Drive efficiency, innovation and continuous improvement
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
You will have demonstrable success in a similar role coupled with extensive knowledge and experience of the UK Electricity Distribution industry sector, gained in an IT/OT role.
Experience of industry best practices specifically in the design and development of Operational Service Management capabilities
• Cross-sector expertise, business and financial acumen
• Proven track record in leading the development of Service Management solutions, ensuring consistency with specified requirements agreed with both external/internal customers.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, including the ability to pull together a larger team for more complex problems, and client facing expertise.
