You will be supporting an individual who has moved into their own home for the first time, so it’s important you can connect, share interests and be interested. From making a cuppa on their own to finding their place in community by attending music events, sports, and swimming and much more. For this role, it is essential that you have experience supporting people with Learning Disabilities, autism and complex needs, this can be personal or professional.
The people we support like to get out and about, so you will need to be a driver and you should have a full UK manual driving licence that you have held for at least 1 year for insurance purposes.
We have many shifts available such as long days, early and late shifts, sleep ins and waking nights. There are also part time and full time hours available.
So if you enjoy building meaningful relationships and think you could plan, communicate and deliver support with and alongside people, then this is the place for you.
Ability to commute/relocate: To NR6 - You must be able to reliably commute for shift start times or plan to relocate before starting work (required).
What will we do?
We will train you in everything you need to be a great Bank Support Worker. We will apply and pay for your enhanced DBS.
