Key responsibilities and duties:
1. Lead the Supply Chain teams/departments, ensuring regular communication to make them aware of priorities, targets and operational requirements
2. Direct management responsibility for Supply Chain teams within Fleetlands Engines, Portsmouth programmes, International Shipping, and Planning
3. Provide full governance and support for UK Supply Chain, located across all five UK sites. Provide support as necessary for other Europe facilities.
4. Management of staff resources in accordance with the business requirements, all within budget and service standards
5. Provide advice and guidance on security, import/export regulations, logistics, space utilization, transport costs etc.
6. Plan for and execute cycle counting on all stock holdings
7. Manage inventory levels in line with business requirements and within set AOP budgets.
8. Ensure all Supply Chain policies & procedures are maintained and legally compliant
9. Work closely with business units to ensure that operational requirements are achieved to cost, quality and target dates.
10. In liaison with StandardAero Corporate, negotiate favourable terms, volume discounts and long term contracts with suppliers and prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders.
11. Review purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to organisation policy and discuss defects and delivery problems with suppliers and negotiates refunds.
12. Monitor purchases on a monthly basis, ensuring compliance with current authorisation requirements
13. Provision of any statistical data to senior management, as required
14. Identify Risks and Opportunities and remove any unnecessary expenditure.
15. Collaboratively develop plans with key stakeholders to ensure alignment of targets, improve supplier performance, and implement continuous improvement plans across spend
16. Actively contribute to Continuous Improvement within the Supply Chain/Logistics department.
17. Carry out any further activities in support of the business, as required.
18. Adherence to Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety Management Systems (SMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and all associated Business Manuals.
19. Negotiate and agree terms and conditions with suppliers, setting up Service Level Agreements (SLAs) or Contracts as necessary, and ensuring compliance through contract life.
20. Ensure implementation and compliance to all StandardAero group and corporate policies, and full reporting of all KPIs/Metrics.
21. Development, mentoring and training of associates within team to increase understanding, competence and skills within the Supply Chain function.

Professional Qualifications/Education and Training:
33. Degree educated in Supply Chain Management; and/or
34. CIPS qualified
Organisational Relationships:
35. Reporting to Engines SMT Director Engines

Experience:
38. Working within a Supply Chain in an Aerospace MRO environment
39. Good understanding of certification requirements, especially with regards to EASA, CAA, FAA, and Military requirements
40. Knowledge of Cap-Ex Purchasing and Equipment Purchases
41. Proven contract negotiation skills
42. Knowledge and understanding of consumables – relating to both indirect business requirements, and supply of chemicals or other consumables for other direct product requirements
43. Knowledge and understanding of REACH regulations
44. Knowledge and understanding of lean techniques may be advantageous
