What you'll need
Working as a member of the Performance Reporting team, you will build reports and analyse data to provide insight helping to maintain performance within Wessex Water.
You will interpret business requirements along with analysing available data to build and maintain business reports in QlikView and Power BI.
Your work will be key to surfacing critical information and data trends to operational staff and senior management. You will provide users with the ability to make measured and well-informed decisions.
You will be responsible for compiling and distributing regular reports to a high quality and providing a service throughout the business for ad hoc data queries and assistance.
Within the role you will provide support to Performance Reporting Team Leader as required and cover key meetings.
You will also get the opportunity to work with a range of stakeholders across departments, building a strong understanding and impeccable knowledge of water service processes and regulations.
What you'll do
We are open to candidates who can bring different experiences to this role. You will have excellent problem-solving skills and be good at translating complexity to a range of stakeholders.
To be considered, you will need to have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including experience using a range of formulas (eg, VLOOKUP, SUMIF), pivot tables and charts.
An element of coding experience and working knowledge of QlikView or other business intelligence software would be beneficial.
Any successful candidates will receive internal QlikView training as part of their induction.
If you also have strong data manipulation, analysis and reporting skills with the ability to plan and prioritise your own workload, this would be helpful.
