It's an exciting time at Sense as our team is expanding! We now have a fantastic opportunity for a Community Support Worker to join our team in Warwickshire. Our Get Out There (GOT) Service supports children and young people with their social programme of activities.
This will be a Permanent role, working up to 5 hours per week in Leamington Spa. Your shifts will be as follows: Weekends during term time and on the Weekdays during school holidays.
As a Community Support Worker, you will be provided 1-1 support to a Child who is non-verbal, short-sighted and profoundly deaf to access the community. Supporting with sensory activities both at home and in the community.
You will support and take part doing activities they enjoy such as going for a walk, going swimming or playing with beads.

Your required skills and experiences:
1. A full UK license and must be willing/able to drive your own vehicle is essential.
2. Experience working with young people who have autism or complex needs is desirable.
3. Knowledge of British Sign Language (BSL) is desirabl.

Your duties can include:
14. To support individuals / groups within the centre and community.
15. To provide a customised, responsive and high quality service to people with multiple sensory impairments, physical and/or learning disabilities who use Sense services.
16. To deliver services which meet or exceed organisational expectations and standards.
