JOB SCOPE AND MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
General: To ensure site activities remain compliant with the requirements of ISO 13485: ISO 14001: ISO 45001: Working with and influencing local (and Group) stakeholders to ensure ongoing continuous improvements in all areas of Operations.
Quality:
1. Complete quality reporting activity, reports, statistical data required by Quality Europe or the North QHSE Director and Local Lab Managers
2. Follow up internal KPI’s supporting providing actions required to ensure the ongoing improvements
3. Support local teams to identify and resolve customer issues realised during customer return analysis.
4. Complete internal audits and suggest and follow-up actions to close non conformities found during the audit.
5. Support internal calibration programme and external calibration recall process
6. Support the document management systems; ensure review and amendment schedules are maintained.
7. Support the North Compliance Manager and North QHSE Director to ensure ongoing compliance with ISO 13485, lead local activities to ensure activities are aligned to Group process control plans. Suggest and follow-up actions where noncompliance’s are identified.
8. Support internal calibration programme and external calibration recall process
HSE
9. Ensure the completions of site inspections and all monitoring activities are completed and ensure that policies and procedures are correctly implemented.
10. Monitor records of inspection findings and produce reports and suggest improvements to the business stakeholders and follow these improvement to ensure completion.
11. Record incidents and accidents and produce statistics for management.
12. Suggest and follow-up corrective actions to ensure business KPI’s are achieved.
13. Ensure accurate collection of waste and ensure timely reporting to ERP and other regulators
14. Support the document management systems; ensure review and amendment schedules are maintained.

Health & Safety Responsibilities
15. To work in line with duty of care to self/others and ensure Health & Safety guidelines are followed in line with company policy, Essilor Group Policies and local regulatory requirements.
16. To protect the health and safety of visitors / contractors / external providers brought to site and ensure relevant H&S guidelines are meant.
17. To bring to the attention of the business hazards, risks, concerns, accidents or near misses and solutions.
18. Comply with any local PPE requirements.
Environmental Responsibilities
19. To work in line with in line with local and Group Environmental & energy policies and best practice.
20. To ensure visitors / contractors / external providers meet relevant environmental procedures while on site.
21. To bring to the attention of the business environmental hazards, risks and concerns.
