Job Summary
Reporting to the Head of Production, within the Suntory GB&I Coleford Manufacturing site, the Production Line Owner will be responsible for all elements of performance for an allocated production line.
The Production Line Owner is responsible for delivering the performance of their production line and team in relation to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and People Development.
The Production Line Owner will be required to spend around 50% of their time within the operational area (line side) proactively driving and managing performance across the shifts.
During periods of downtime, the Production Line Owner will ensure the full utilisation of the team in value-add activities.

Quality, Environment, Health and Safety
• Promotes safe working practices and complies to EHS, Quality and HACCP standards.
Line/Area Performance
• Accountable for all aspects of line performance – Safety, Quality, Environmental Compliance,
Financial, Production Plan, Efficiency, Losses and Waste
• Manages the KPI development, tracking, monitoring, analysis, diagnosis and consequent
corrective/improvement actions.
Delivery
• Maximises plant capability and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) by managing all losses
• Manages the team to deliver the agreed weekly production plan within the planned resource
budget and timeframe
• Leads continuous improvement within the line by challenging existing practices, using TPM methodologies.
People Development

Skills and Experience
- HNC or equivalent in a numerate discipline or vocational training in Operations Management
• Formal qualification in Continuous Improvement Principles (ideally 6 Sigma Green Belt or equivalent)
• Knowledge of managing a complex plant and resources within a FMCG environment
• Effective planning skills including ability to construct and communicate Gantt charts
• Ability to understand Coleford operational demands and interpret these into daily action plans / activities to ensure delivery of production demands
• Strong computer skills with ability to work with Microsoft office programmes and bespoke automation software
• Ability to communicate, network, engage and influence people across the Coleford site
• Ability to effectively solve complex issues, assimilate information and make appropriate decisions under pressure
• Strong written and oral communication skills including report writing and formal presentation skills
• Ability to demonstrate a high level of credibility, integrity and resilience
• Strong analytical skills underpinned by innovative thinking.
