Your new role
Thepany are looking for a part-time Purchase Ledger Clerk to join them on a temp-to-perm basis.
Duties will include:
1. Processing Purchase invoices, using nominal and project analysis codes
2. Reconciling supplier statements
3. Liaise with Site Managers to approve supplier invoices
4. Produce creditors analysis
5. Produce creditors payments lists
6. Allocate payments made to Suppliers
7. Emails and dealing with supplier queries
8. Produce Sales ledger invoices
9. Allocate receipts to Customer accounts.
10. General administration and filing.
11. Ad-hoc duties to assist Accounts Manager with all other accounting needs.
12. Ad-hoc duties to assist other departments to ensure the smooth running of office.
13. Good Knowledge of Sage Accounts is required.
14. Excel experience preferred
15. Team player to work within a small team for a family business.
16. Previous working experience within the construction industry and knowledge of CIS is an advantage.
What you'll need to succeed
Ideally, you will be immediately available or on short notice. You will have goodmunication skills and be able to work as part of a small knit finance function. You will have good knowledge of invoice processing and have good attention to detail. Knowledge of Sage accounts would be beneficial but not essential.
