SEN Teaching Assistant
Hours of Work: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, Term Time
Pay: £85-£100 per day

About the role:
We are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and behavioural challenges. This rewarding role will allow you to build meaningful relationships with students while helping them develop key life skills, confidence, and independence.
You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to deliver targeted support, create tailored interventions, and provide a nurturing and structured environment for children to thrive.

Application Requirements:
• Experience working with children with SEN, particularly ASD and ADHD.
• Strong behaviour management skills and a patient, empathetic approach.
• A proactive and enthusiastic attitude to supporting students’ progress.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3 or equivalent) are desirable but not essential.
• Right to work in the UK and a valid Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
Key Responsibilities:
• Providing 1:1 support for students with ASD, ADHD, and behavioural needs.
• Implementing targeted intervention strategies to promote progress.
• Supporting the development of children’s social, emotional, and academic skills.
• Collaborating with teachers, SENCo, and parents to ensure consistent care and progress.
• Adapting learning activities to suit individual needs.
