Reporting to the Energy Manager, the Energy Systems Engineer role continuously improves the energy performance of Imperial’s estate, reducing operating cost through reduced expenditure on utilities. The post holder will achieve this through application of sound engineering skills and principles to existing and new infrastructure, analysis and interpretation of data, database and information management, implementation of strategies and opportunities to affect energy, cost and carbon reduction.
This role involves a wide range of responsibilities focused on energy management and sustainability which includes identifying energy reduction opportunities, applying for funding, and managing projects.
