We are looking to further strengthen our existing planning enforcement team to maintain a high performing, high morale environment within the Planning Service. A number of opportunities across the teams are available, all vital to the successful operation of the Development Management and Enforcement function. The ideal candidate will ensure that the Council’s planning enforcement functions are maintained and improved. Your knowledge and skill along with planning or enforcement experience is what we are looking for. You will have excellent negotiation and communication skills with the ability to explain complex enforcement cases to a variety of stakeholders. You will have the ability to manage conflicting priorities within a pressurised environment. You may be looking for your next career move, a promotion into a more senior role, an officer wanting greater or supervision of more junior members of staff. You will have a relevant qualification in Town Planning (or equivalent) which supports membership of, eligibility for the Royal Town Planning Institute.
