Could you join our Marketing team, contribute your expertise to a global charity, help tell the story of the British Red Cross and our partnerships, including Jaguar Land Rover?
We are looking for a dynamic Marketing Manager to join our team. You will be based in our London Head Office, however we have hybrid working.
In this exciting and fast paced role, you’ll be responsible for the management of corporate partnerships marketing and communications. With no two days the same, you’ll work across the full breadth of the organisation and the global movement on campaigns and initiatives. You’ll be able to think strategically and creatively to seek out new opportunities to generate partnership growth and value. Whether that be delivering marketing plans which support our flagship integrated campaigns or development of communications plans which promote a specific partnership activity. This role will also primarily focus on our long-term partnership with Jaguar Land Rover.
You will build effective relationships with the Corporate Partnerships team, with communications leads within our corporate partners, and with relevant counterparts throughout the global Red Cross Red Crescent movement to maximise the impact of our partnerships. This role will be crucial to the organisation and therefore vital to helping those in crisis.
A day in the life of a Marketing Manager, Partnerships will include.
1. Working with the Corporate Partnerships team to develop and deliver strategic marketing plans. Ensuring that plans fulfil partnership objectives, align with the organisational strategy and consider ROI.
2. Support the Corporate Partnerships team to develop and implement its strategy, where related to communications, including leading on the improvement of cross-directorate ways of working and team profile, both internally and externally.
3. Support marketing teams across the British Red Cross to co-ordinate our work and collaborate on the effective planning, creation, and delivery of content to our priority audiences.
4. Champion the British Red Cross brand, ensuring accurate representation of the brand in all partner marketing and communications.
This role would be perfect for an experienced communicator who has a strong understanding of communication and marketing campaign planning, development, and delivery. You’ll have experience working with multiple stakeholders, you'll be able to manage projects from end to end and coordinate with both internal and external partners.
To be a successful Marketing Manager, Partnerships you'll have.
5. Excellent project management skills: from design to delivery and evaluation.
6. Experience of providing professional marketing advice whether in-house or as a consultant.
7. Experience of successfully developing strategic marketing plans.
8. Strong experience and understanding of brand.
9. Excellent interpersonal, influencing and negotiating skills, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills.
10. Strong and demonstrable experience of stakeholder management.
11. Experience of briefing and working with external agencies.
12. IT literacy and are proficient using Microsoft applications.
It would also be desirable if you had:
13. A marketing degree or professional marketing qualification or equivalent experience.
14. Experience of public sector, not for profit or charity marketing.
15. Strong understanding of corporate fundraising, corporate partnerships and the wider corporate social responsibility agenda.
16. A commitment to supporting people in crisis.
