About the role:
Are you passionate about early childhood education and looking for a new, exciting opportunity in Barnet? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic EYFS Teacher to join a vibrant and nurturing primary school on a part-time basis. If you’re looking to inspire young learners, then this role could be the perfect fit for you! As the EYFS Teacher, you’ll be leading a class of eager 3 to 5-year-olds, helping to lay the foundation for their educational journey. You’ll be responsible for creating engaging and interactive lessons that promote curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning. You’ll work closely with teaching assistants and other staff members to ensure each child’s individual needs are met, and that the classroom remains a positive, inclusive space for all. This is a part-time position, ideal for those looking to balance work with other commitments, while still making a significant impact in a wonderful school.
Application Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching within the Early Years Foundation Stage.
• A passion for early childhood education and child development.
• Ability to plan creative and engaging lessons.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• A friendly, approachable nature with excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the EYFS curriculum.
• Foster a positive and supportive learning environment.
• Monitor and track student progress, providing tailored support where necessary.
• Work collaboratively with other staff to ensure consistent and effective teaching practices.
• Encourage social, emotional, and cognitive development through play-based learning.
• Maintain strong relationships with parents and caregivers to support each child’s development.
