Senior Payroll Officer
£30,628 - £35,119 per annum depending on qualifications and experience
40 Hours per week, 52 weeks per year
This post is based in Nailsworth, Near Stroud, Gloucestershire.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Payroll Officer for our Corporate Finance Team at Ruskin Mill Trust.
For full details of duties please refer to Job Description but will include:
1. Processing monthly payroll for up to 11 companies and produce the period close reports for each entity.
2. Deputising for the Finance and Payroll Manager with regards to payroll processes and responsibilities in event of their absence.
3. Keeping up to date with payroll legislation, ensuring that RMT and its subsidiaries maintain compliance at all times.
4. Adhering to HMRC rules and to manage submissions to HMRC on monthly and annual basis.
5. Providing support to the payroll officer in ensuring pension submissions are sent on monthly basis and information is kept up to date.
6. Managing the process of attachment of earnings with local councils, ensuring that employees are aware of the impact of any instructions received.
