Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and motivated Year 6 Teacher to join one of our client schools in Northampton for one or more terms of cover. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced primary teacher to work within a vibrant school environment, providing essential support to students at this crucial stage in their education.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the Year 6 curriculum, helping students achieve their best as they prepare for the transition to secondary school.
* Assess, track, and report on student progress, adapting teaching strategies to support individual learning needs.
* Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters both academic and personal growth.
* Uphold school policies and support positive behavior management, maintaining high expectations and a respectful classroom atmosphere.
Candidate Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with primary school teaching experience, ideally in upper Key Stage 2.
* Proven ability to deliver high-quality teaching with a track record of fostering student progress and engagement.
* Strong organizational and communication skills, with a proactive approach to planning and teaching.
* A commitment to contributing positively to the school community and helping students achieve their full potential.
