Are you an experienced HR Administrator looking for your next challenge? Our client, a leading educational institution, is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to join their team as an HR Administrator on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.
Here's what our client offers:
Competitive Salary Range: £40, - £42, per annum.
Contract Length: 12 months, starting November!
Working Pattern: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm.

What will you do as an HR Administrator?
As an HR Administrator, your primary focus will be on providing efficient and well-organised administrative support for HR, Payroll, and supply teacher cover arrangements. You'll play a crucial role in keeping the Academy's cover and absence systems up-to-date and in sync with HR processes, policies, and procedures. Here's a glimpse of your key responsibilities:
HR and Payroll Administration:
1. Maintain up-to-date employee records and personnel files, ensuring accuracy and adherence to HR policies.
2. Coordinate payroll processes, collating starter and leaver information, and providing timely support to the Schools' payroll provider.
3. Assist in booking and coordinating staff occupational health appointments when required.
4. Support with the annual school workforce census to ensure accurate and up-to-date data.
️ Efficient Administration:
5. Maintain the Academy's Single Central Register and supporting evidence records in accordance with audit requirements.
6. Draught employee contracts and provide accurate staffing information to the Director of Finance.
7. Analyse and evaluate data to produce reports as required for the school's information systems.
8. Keep accurate records of staff absences and inform management of absences above the usual trigger days.
9. Ensure compliance with records retention policy and data protection laws, safeguarding information security and confidentiality.
Teamwork and Support:
10. Contribute to the overall ethos and aims of the school, building constructive relationships with colleagues and external partners.
11. Help coordinate school staff training sessions on various topics.
12. Assist in the administration of documentation, medical clearances, visas, and DBS checks as required.
13. Make sure your workspace is organised and well-maintained, ensuring sufficient office resources are available.
What are we looking for in an HR Administrator?
Requirements:
14. Proven experience in a similar HR administrative role.
15. Strong knowledge of HR processes, policies, and procedures.
16. Proficient in using HR systems and software. (SIMS Desirable)
17. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
18. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
19. Ability to handle confidential information with utmost discretion.
