Do you have a background in the Automotive Industry? This company are market leaders in their division and with their constant development and growth they are looking to add a Facilities Manager to the team. With a fantastic client base and working with some of the biggest brands out there you would be joining a brilliant company. In this role you will work closely with the Operations Manager to recondition company vehicles in line with company standards whilst also managing the vehicle reconditioning workshop. You will also showcase commercial skills as you manage the mechanical teams, deal with quality and cost control and lead from the front. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Maintenance Manager/ Fleet Manager or similar with a background in the automotive industry. You will need to have natural leadership skills, full drivers licence, repair management skills and excellent stakeholder management skills when providing insight, data and information to all levels and seniority of staff and colleagues. 1. Work closely with the Operations Manager to recondition company vehicles according to company standards.
2. Oversee and manage the vehicle reconditioning workshop.
3. Lead mechanical teams, ensuring smooth operations and team coordination.
4. Handle quality control and ensure cost-effective operations.
5. Demonstrate commercial skills by managing both technical processes and business aspects.
The Person:
6. Experienced Maintenance Manager, Fleet Manager, or similar role within the automotive industry.
7. Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and motivate teams effectively.
8. Possesses a full driver's license and expertise in repair management.
9. Skilled in stakeholder management, providing clear insight, data, and information to colleagues at all levels.
10. Capable of collaborating with senior staff and colleagues across various departments.
