This is an outstanding opening to join a very small but growing team. You will be working in a BRAND-NEW Data and Analytics Team. The Insight Analyst is a pivotal role that transforms complex data into insightful, actionable intelligence across the organization. This role is at the intersection of analytics and business decision-making, involving collaboration with various teams to support a wide range of objectives. As part of our commitment to staying at the forefront of technology and analysis, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies including Power BI for visualization, dbt for data transformation, Databricks for analytics, and BigQuery for managing our big data needs. This role is designed for those who are passionate about diving into data, uncovering insights, and leveraging advanced tools to drive strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work collaboratively with teams across the organization, including marketing, sales, product development, and customer service, to gather analytical requirements and deliver insights that support a wide range of business objectives.
2. Dashboard and Reporting: Create and maintain dynamic dashboards in Power BI that offer immediate insights into key metrics and trends, facilitating data-driven decision-making across the company.
3. Analytical Insight: Conduct in-depth analysis to evaluate the performance of various initiatives and campaigns, providing recommendations for improvement.
4. Learning and Development: Actively seek out learning opportunities to stay ahead of the latest trends and techniques in analytics and apply this knowledge to your work.
Qualifications
You will have/be:
5. At least 1-2 years of experience in an analytics role, with a demonstrated ability to work with complex datasets and generate actionable insights.
6. A strong foundation in mathematics or a related field.
7. Demonstrable Proficiency in dashboarding and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Google Data Studio, Tableau).
8. Good working knowledge of SQL and a keen interest in further developing these skills.
9. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in an accessible manner to stakeholders across the organization.
10. A collaborative spirit, eager to learn from and contribute to the success of a diverse team.
Nice to have's:
11. Written dbt models for analytical and dashboarding purposes.
12. Working Python knowledge.
