Location: Kensal Town, West London
Salary: £28,998-£34,452 (pro rata, actual salary £27,714 - £32,927) Ark Support Scale 6: Pay Points 8 – 19
Contract: Permanent
Working pattern: Full-time, term-time only
Start date: September 2024 or sooner

About the role:
We are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant who will provide higher level of support for teaching and learning for pupils attending the brand-new autism provision at Ark Brunel. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who wishes to develop their skills. There will also be a small teaching commitment to cover Teachers’ PPA.
Our ideal candidate will have:
·Experience working with pupils who have autism or special educational needs
·Good knowledge of autism specific strategies
·Previously worked as a Teaching Assistant
·Experience of leading learning and/or activities at a whole class level
·A positive, patient and caring nature
·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
