S-P-M Ltd are a vibrant and forward-thinking manufacturer of car registration plates and bespoke printing systems with branches throughout Europe. Due to recent expansion, we are looking for somebody who has the wow factor to represent us, somebody with real spark who will not only look after our existing accounts but will also grow our band of happy customers in the region. The area listed is the Southampton, but we will accept applicants from Devon to Kent.
Ideal candidates will have experience of B2B sales (including cold calling and approaching new business), be based on patch and be able to work independently in the field. Reporting to the UK Director, you will be driven, have the ability to spot opportunities within the industry and be able to negotiate quickly and accurately with clients to assure the best terms of investment. You must be highly organised and have the ability to change your sales approach to fit the type of client you are dealing with at that time.
This is a dual role. As well as the sales aspect, you will also act as our technical support agent for the region with full training given beforehand.
As the role is field-based, it is extremely important that you are trustworthy and can manage your time effectively. You will need to be able to motivate yourself, organise your own diary, and work effectively outside of a traditional office environment.
You will be expected to hit the ground running. An initial training plan will be discussed, but it will then be up to you to begin generating leads and seeing clients. Our internal sales and technical teams will work closely with you in order to navigate you around our development and technical procedures.
Your daily duties will include:
* Identifying new business opportunities
* Demonstrating your investment by learning our industry and our products
* Following up and generating sales leads
* Demonstrations and training with clients
* Installation and repairs of our bespoke equipment
* Meeting agreed sales targets and developing lasting relationships with customers
* Recording and collating data accurately
* Raising orders and completing quotations at the end of every day
* Advising clients on brand design and upselling our range of products
* The role will initially be 70% new sales, 20% account management and 10% tech support.

First stage interviews will be held via Zoom meeting, followed by a second and possibly final stage interview face to face.
