An opening has become available for a friendly and enthusiastic Ward Clerk to join our busy Team on Wards 10 & 15 at Wansbeck General Hospital.
Although the post is based at Wansbeck, you may be asked to provide cover on one of our other sites if the service needs.
This post is part time, Monday - Friday 15:30 - 19:30 however you may be asked to work an early shift or weekends if the service needs.
Main duties of the job
To provide a reception service, acting as first point of contact on the telephone or face to face, for patients, visitors and other healthcare facilitate good communication with other wards and departments involved in patient care or ward/departmental input data regarding all admissions, transfers and discharges onto Patient Administration provide an efficient administration and clerical service to unit staff, visitors and patients.
