Job Description
As an WW Designer on Reclaimed Vintage, you will be working closely with the design team, helping to design the amazing Reclaimed Vintage ranges for our twenty something customer. If you love fashion design, researching the latest trends, have an eye for vintage-inspired fashion and want to be part of a fast-paced fashion forward design team this could be the opportunity for you.
What you'll be doing
1. Working with the Reclaimed Vintage design team by researching, developing, and designing into a head-to-toe all category brand - focusing on WW Outerwear, Knitwear, Jersey and Denim. You will be identifying key shapes for the season, colour, fabric and building a range which offers choice for our global customer base.
2. Reacting to sales information and design commercially relevant fashion forward ranges.
3. Researching current and future trends by a collection of different sources to identify newness and interpret into first to market pieces.
4. Working with the technical team on initial fits. Identifying and helping problem solve for the department.
5. Building relations with suppliers and advising factories on direction, construction, key details, materials, and trims.
6. Adhering to the critical path to achieve deadlines, ensuring product is developed for the relevant and optimum selling period.
7. An ability to research and develop unique product working with short lead suppliers and reacting to new trends quickly.
8. Creating clear, concise and detailed technical packs and overseeing designs from development stage to going live on site.

Qualifications
10. Experience in a commercial/fashion brand and proven track record
11. Strong commercial handwriting and understanding of the Reclaimed Vintage Brand and Customer
12. Computer Skills: Photoshop, Adobe, CAD, but also great hand drawing skills.
13. A fashion forward individual with strong work ethics and great time management
14. The confidence to identify problems and makes improvement suggestions, seeking practical ways to overcome barriers and remaining calm under pressure.
15. The ability to communicate to the team
16. Presenting in meetings, confident designing and collating of collections and presenting this to buyers and wider team independently
17. Willingness to travel in the UK and Internationally as required, for supplier meetings and inspiration / development trips.
