Manpower UK Print & Packaging Division are excited to bring an opportunity to market for a Senior Operations Improvement Project Manager, based on our clients Tamworth site. Our prestigious client is a an established, household name within the Consumer Goods manufacturing sector and boasts a Billion Pound Turnover This role is all about driving excellence across operations, being continuously on the lookout for opportunities for improvement and consistently influencing and driving positive change. The successful candidate will take the lead in delivering process improvements - with a focus on further process automation - and the implementation of new product flows from start to finish across their 3 fulfilment centres. You will be part of a small but dynamic team, who will be hands-on, analytical and solutions driven. We are seeking a robust communicator who can effectively navigate through and steer conflicting priorities/ immediate challenges/ short term goal solutions being driven by operations, who is able to compromise, work in hand with site operations and influence where necessary to ensure long term progress and the execution of the project and it's structural pillars remains on track for successful delivery, a priority, and a consideration when day to day decision-making is taking place on site. Key responsibilities will include: Project Planning & Project Delivery. Stakeholder Management. Process Analysis & Data Analysis. Change Management. Continuous Improvement Culture. Research and Trends. Idea Generation. Experience required: 3 years’ experience in Project Management and familiarity with waterfall and agile project management. Experience working in a production or fulfilment environment, preferably in e-commerce, with knowledge of printing processes & innovations. PRINCE2 qualified (or hold an equivalent qualification). Familiar with or certified in Lean or Lean Six Sigma. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Salary attached to the role is up to £60,000 up to 15% bonus.
