WSR are recruiting for a New Business Development Manager to join the team for our Global client based in UK

Role Overview:
Our client provides dynamic retail experiences and pioneering productivity solutions that enhance the business operations of their clients. They consistently refine their capabilities and reinvest in their business to offer higher performing solutions for brands and retailers. They are now looking to recruit a talented New Business Development Manager to join their team.
As Business Development Manager you will have overall responsibility for attracting new clients and create new opportunities by closing large brand global accounts within target markets selling their products and services.
Key Accountabilities
1. Identify, develop and close new profitable business opportunities within target markets, which have potential to grow into £3m+ accounts.
2. To manage the customer relationship by building and maintaining rapport with customers at different organisational levels.
3. To execute major sales presentations professionally.
4. To manage and communicate project proposals, quotations and meeting reports to customers.
5. Manage all communications with clients regarding new developments.
6. Manage contract negotiations with support from department heads.
7. Receive, understand and document briefs from customers and communicate their requirements internally including a clear and comprehensive design brief.
8. Agree a project proposal with the client and ensure purchase order at each stage of the project is obtained from customer before any work commences.
9. Maintain communication with other departments to ensure accurate flow of orders and information.
10. Create contact reports written for all business meetings, in accordance with the company’s guidelines.
11. Send a bi-weekly report to the Department Head detailing progress, new leads and additions to your target list.
12. Submit your planned diary on a weekly basis.
13. Maintain communication with other international offices to monitor any global developments.
14. Meet with the Finance department to determine adequate credit and collection procedures.
15. To assist with debt collection when necessary
Qualifications and Skills
16. Experience working in a sales capacity – including upselling products and services and negotiating on deals / contracts, experience executing sales presentations.
17. Excellent at building and maintaining strong relationships with Clients to strengthen the Client network.
18. Excellent time management and organisation skills with the ability to work with multiple Clients and projects simultaneously.
19. Ability to work under pressure.
20. Self-confidence with the ability to be both persuasive and a good listener – understanding the Client’s needs.
21. Eagerness to constantly review methodologies, products and services within the industry and implement agreed improvements.
22. Current driving licence.
23. Must have the ability and willingness to travel to international offices and other locations within Europe and overseas where necessary.
